Ballet Company

ADFA’s Ballet Companies provide the highest level of artistic and technical training in classical ballet, as we foster the arts and develop the lifelong skills of hard work, dedication and reliability. Every student in the company is trained with a solid foundation in technique so if they choose, they are prepared for further professional work in the dance world. It is our goal to continually provide the very best selection of instructors, who will carry on our traditional methods for many years to come. Faculty members include master educators who possess deep roots within the professional ballet community.

Junior Ballet Company

Our Junior Ballet Company provides younger students with advanced training opportunities to begin building a foundation from which they can grow. Dancers will learn the vocabulary and practice methods with respectful evaluation and collaboration within the creative process.'

Training focuses on strengthening the feet and ankles, proper alignment and guiding students through exercises to progress into pre-pointe or beginning pointe.

Dancers will participate in performances within the community, including the Nutcracker Suite.

Company auditions are required.

Teen Ballet Company

Our Teen Ballet Company focuses on perfecting technique and developing artistry through intensive instruction. Training is intensified by increasing technique en pointe. Students selected for this company constitutes an agreement of dedication and time commitment necessary.

Students are selected because of physical aptitude, focus, strength, musicality, and coordination. Classroom effort and attendance are also considered.

Dancers will be assigned multiple roles within the annual Nutcracker Suite. Additional rehearsals are mandatory.

Company auditions are required.

Senior Ballet Company

Our Senior Ballet Company receives the highest quality of ballet training while developing the next generation of creative minds and pre-professionals.

Classes provide comprehensive training that is designed to further develop technique, strength, and artistry in a rigorous environment. A deep knowledge and understanding of ballet terminology and alignment principles, as well as the ability to execute core ballet technique is expected.

Dancers will perform lead roles in most performances including the Nutcracker Suite.

Company auditions are required.
